About

For those of you who may not have followed me from before, my name is Darcy and I'm married to my avid hunter, candle loving husband, Bryan. We have two dogs (a pug and a springer spaniel) & five cats (one indoor, four outdoor). We were married on 10.10.10 but have been together since 09.03.04. We live about an hour north of Philly and will never fully agree on where we want to retire. I want the beach, he wants Iowa (big deer). In the meantime, we'll reside in our small town until we win the lottery. 

 

It's been one hell of a journey to get to this point. Four years of struggle: diagnosed and dealing with hypothyroidsm, endless blood draws, drugs, needles, suppositories, vaginal gels, hormones raging and I wouldn't change one thing. All of this got me to where I am today: pregnant and finally expecting my first child at the age of 35.

For those of you who are new to my crazy ride, feel free to check out my blog on infertility. I wanted to start a new beginning with this pregnancy but will never forget the lessons I learned and the strength I gained conquering that horrible disease!
